This spring, baseball fans will be scouring the web for information on their favorite players and teams as they prepare for this baseball season.
Starting the week of February 15, video views related to baseball have jumped up significantly – coinciding with the start of Spring training
- Average weekly ad calls increased 89% between week of 2/14 and 2/7
- The biggest daily jump comes on 2/15, where ad calls increased 50% from the previous day
- The apex of viewing came on 2/18 where video views were 59% higher than the 2-week average (21% above that week’s average)
By state, the mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Western states have the highest index of baseball related video viewing
